The upcoming edition of the Mille Miglia is approaching and the “dolce vita” is already at its best here on Lake Garda. So many people from all around the world just waiting for the great departure in Brescia, on Thursday the 14th, when the most beautiful historical cars of the world will be concentrated in one city and will start for an adventurous drive through Italy bringing with them all the passion and glamour of an event that lasts since 1927.

Centomiglia del Garda

The first Regatta of the Centomiglia del Garda took place the 8th and 9th September 1951. Sailing boats belonging to different classes (Open, Offshore boats, Monotype, Prototype e Multihulls) may enter the regatta. The sailing event has become an historical meeting among some of the most important sailors; some yacht owners build up special yachts to take part in the race. It is a whole-lake Regatta, starting from Bogliaco, up to Torbole, down to Desenzano and return to Bogliaco. There are two different courses according to the length and to the different type of boats (almost 300 boats) which take part in the race. Two more courses are sailed by the fast Multihulls.

This year it will take place on the 6th and 7th of  September.
